Do You Want a Wedding Do-Over?

Would “I Do” it the same if I had it to do all over again?  Maybe not exactly the same.

I was browsing on Pinterest the other day, which is one of my favorite pastimes.  If I’m feeling a little crafty but lack the energy to actually make something, I can just go drool over all the pretty things other people have made.  Anyhow, I happened upon a photo of a gorgeous wedding dress over there recently.  I couldn’t help but look at a few wedding boards.   So many adorable engagement photo ideas.  We never did engagement photos and I’m wishing now that we had.  Beautiful dresses, flowers, centerpieces and oh my – the rings.  Where was this site when I was planning my wedding all those years ago?  Don’t get me wrong, I love our wedding rings, but it seems there are so many more options now.  Not just for womens rings, but mens as well.  Some of these tungsten carbide wedding bands are really nice looking.  They seem to fit my husband’s style better than the hammered gold ring he wears.   Not to mention that the price on a tungsten carbide wedding band is considerably less than what I paid for his gold ring.  If I had only known.
I was holding my hand up to my computer screen comparing my own ring to some of the stunners others had pinned when my husband came up behind me:
“Who is getting married?”
“Then why are you looking at that stuff?”
I’m pretty sure he thinks I’m crazy.  He also thinks I’m a Pinterest addict.  Right, like that could happen. This wasn’t helping my case, but luckily it’s fairly easy to distract a science teacher.
“Honey, check out this tungsten carbide ring.  What is tungsten carbide anyway?”
“(Bunch of really scientific stuff I can’t remember)”
“Honey, you’re so smart. That’s one of the things I love most about you.”
And with that, my having to explain my Pinterest (non-) addiction was averted and I went about my Pinterest perusing in peace.
If you had a chance to do your wedding over, is there anything you would change? Would you have a fancier affair or go back and cut the guest list in half? Leave  a comment!

I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog
and was wondering what all is needed to get set up?

I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty
penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% positive.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
