Kid’s Art Project – Painting Autumn

This week we brought some fall color indoors by painting a tree with leaves in a rainbow of fall colors. With just a little help to get the basic shape, Jake started with a trunk and branches.

Using a cardstock template I drew freehand to give the tree shape, he sponged on leaves in red, orange and yellow.

This was a fun and easy project. Here’s our finished work of art hanging in (on) our home gallery.
